Biography
Netti Schmidt, 1963 born in Hamburg, studied Art in Suffolk, Great Britain, for two years and later finished her master-degree at the University of Art (UdK) in Berlin. She is living in Berlin and working in the studio at the www.atelierhaus-mengerzeile.de. She works in egg tempera, watercolor, oil color, oil crayon, colored pencil and has a preference for mixing up several technics. Analogous photography helps her to be in constant contact with the mysticism in the world which surrounds her. Through painting she creates this world in between anew.
